The Final Season (first three episodes) of The Bad Batch has hit Disney plus! This week is our first after-show of a sub-series of aftershows hitting our podcast for the coming week until the season ends. We encourage all our listeners to watch the episodes on Disney beforehand and then tune into the after-show to hear our connections, breakdowns thoughts and more. Oh, and most importantly, the Pablo Points and Poodoo's! You'll see..We might have some other subjects on the pod coming your way too alongside Bad Batch reviews but expect the majority here on out until April will be very Bad Batch focused, so we hope you guys are with us on the journey to the final episode of the series which acts as a Legacy continuity to The Clone Wars.

Happy Star Wars Podcast Day! Feb 7th 2024 celebrates the 25th anniversary of star wars podcasting, beginning with Jedi Talk. About 4 years podcasting and not once have we taken the time to run a chat focused on Star Wars Escape Pod, meta style. This is behind the blast doors, a small look behind the curtain of our very own podcast! Some of the challenges starting a podcast, subject matter, starting out and obtaining wonderful guests. We've had a wild ride hosting a Star Wars podcast these last few years, shout out to those of your who've been listening since the start - we're so lucky to have you continue tuning in! As many of you know, we've be podcasting either way, but it's having an audience that gives us more reason and more drive to keep doing it because we're doing it for you too. About
In 2015 we had an idea to create a Star Wars podcast that felt both fun, informative and different than the existing podcasts available to audiences in the Star Wars fandom. In 2019 that idea was made a reality with the launch of our first Intro (since updated) and the debut of the logo.
What's our Escape Pod theme about?
Our logo and podcast title is based on the first shot ILM ever completed in 1976 on "Star Wars". The escape pod launching from the Tantive IV. It remains an iconic shot to this day. In late 2022 we vectorized and modernized our logo that was once essentially a screenshot (with some photoshop applied) and turned it into a recognizable essence of the original but something we can call our own.
