The High Republic has a very story centric game coming to consoles and PC in the future. We got a full BREAKDOWN of the cinematic trailer right here in this episode and we're of course very excited for this development happening with Star Wars: Eclipse. The story of Ben Solo is complicated, and the movies don't exactly do this character justice as far as a complete story arc goes, we got to dig deeper, look at the novels and comics, and games for the rest of the answers we seek. Despite the films including Ben as a main character, he is portrayed primarily as a villain. Unlike the story of Anakin Skywalker, we begin to perceive him as a bad guy over a good guy. The focus of the sequel trilogy was on Rey, and today we want to dedicate an entire episode to walking through the life and legend of Ben Solo! You don't want to miss this one.

About
In 2015 we had an idea to create a Star Wars podcast that felt both fun, informative and different than the existing podcasts available to audiences in the Star Wars fandom. In 2019 that idea was made a reality with the launch of our first Intro (since updated) and the debut of the logo.
What's our Escape Pod theme about?
Our logo and podcast title is based on the first shot ILM ever completed in 1976 on "Star Wars". The escape pod launching from the Tantive IV. It remains an iconic shot to this day. In late 2022 we vectorized and modernized our logo that was once essentially a screenshot (with some photoshop applied) and turned it into a recognizable essence of the original but something we can call our own.
