2020 has been a crazy insane year. Let's face it, it sucked. But what didn't suck was all the cool Star Wars stuff we got from Disney / Lucasfilm! Dreams came true when Clone Wars season 7 launched and Bad Batch was announced. Mandalorian had it's second season, resistance came to a close with season 2 and we had multiple star wars VR video games launch as well! Between book launches and announcements and new content on Disney plus we ended up having a force filled year beyond that of any other! In a way. Although Celebration being cancelled was kind of a bummer. Let's chat with Josh and Blake in the escape pod for one last ride in 2020 before we head lightspeed into 2021.

What a great episode! Directed by Rick Famuyiwa, both intense action and adventure filled. Had major solo train heist vibes all over. Bill Burr's Mayfeld has fantastic character moments in this one. Of course we are introduced to Valin Hess, a creepy Imperial officer who is played by the same actor as Game of Thrones the night king! Not to mention, that insane SEISMIC CHARGE action at the end! About
In 2015 we had an idea to create a Star Wars podcast that felt both fun, informative and different than the existing podcasts available to audiences in the Star Wars fandom. In 2019 that idea was made a reality with the launch of our first Intro (since updated) and the debut of the logo.
What's our Escape Pod theme about?
Our logo and podcast title is based on the first shot ILM ever completed in 1976 on "Star Wars". The escape pod launching from the Tantive IV. It remains an iconic shot to this day. In late 2022 we vectorized and modernized our logo that was once essentially a screenshot (with some photoshop applied) and turned it into a recognizable essence of the original but something we can call our own.
