We've been waiting a long time to see Boba Fett in some real on screen live action, action.. You know, without it ending in him diving head first into a sarlaac pit. Well this is the episode, brought to us by the director of "Spy Kids" and "Sharkboy and Lavagirl" comes a new episode of "The Mandalorian", chills all over this one! I can't believe the day has come to chat about a live action Ahsoka Tano, watching all the animated shows has really started to pay off! We'll catch you guys up on her story a bit and chat about where she was and what's happened since, but my only recommendation is to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels to really get the full picture and story. Us sharing this info is not the same. George Lucas put a lot of care into creating the Clone Wars for a good reason, it's just as much Lucasfilm as his films are.Ahsoka really stole the show in this episode, and it's exciting to think we might even see her again. Some minor complaints to share but still really cool to see her.

I think we just saw Snoke. A mangled body and a deep choir monk song in the background... I got a bad feeling about this... But also a very good feeling because it means we finally get some connections and some answers to the sequels.. possibly! Let's chat all about The Siege, the latest episode from The Mandalorian. The FINAL installment in the "Skywalker Saga"... Or so Disney marketed it to be. Not only 15 years ago we remember fondly when Revenge of the Sith was marketed simply "The saga is complete". As a fan, in my personal opinion it's been trying times to see this sequel trilogy unfold. Walking out of this film I thought "whelp, what's done is done". I never once thought I'd be saying that about any star wars film until the last 5 years flew by. I do not believe Disney had any right to complete George's vision the way they did, first points being, Disney's vision was never George's vision, vice versa. Despite that, some fans absolutely love this film and that remains their opinion, respectively. But today myself (Josh), Blake and Reid sit down to re watch this finale, and really talk about it the way we feel, good and bad. Disclaimer if you love this movie to perhaps avoid listening to us on this one! We're not here to trash, but we are here to share our genuine thoughts. May the force be with us, one last time...

The most controversial star wars film has reached us on the list of our chronological viewing order of the saga. Today we chat all about "Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi", some great ideas came out of this movie, but as Rian Jonson hoped for.. he made a very controversial film in the saga. Stay tuned at the end where we play footage of his reasoning for this. Now this film did break records, but made a lot of fans angry as well. We're going to watch this film, enjoy the parts we liked and critique the parts we didn't. This is Star Wars after all, we're all fans here of the franchise, so this is a disclaimer for anyone who feels differently about this trilogy and this film. Your opinion is respected, and we advise you not to tune in unless you're prepared for some sequel criticism.

About
In 2015 we had an idea to create a Star Wars podcast that felt both fun, informative and different than the existing podcasts available to audiences in the Star Wars fandom. In 2019 that idea was made a reality with the launch of our first Intro (since updated) and the debut of the logo.
What's our Escape Pod theme about?
Our logo and podcast title is based on the first shot ILM ever completed in 1976 on "Star Wars". The escape pod launching from the Tantive IV. It remains an iconic shot to this day. In late 2022 we vectorized and modernized our logo that was once essentially a screenshot (with some photoshop applied) and turned it into a recognizable essence of the original but something we can call our own.
